After proudly achieving 501(c)(3) status as a Nonprofit Performing Arts Company in 2023, our growth as a board, production team and theater company has been nothing short of remarkable. In the previous year we have doubled the number of events we are producing, and we continue to introduce innovative, new material alongside fresh interpretations of theater classics. More than ever, our community outreach efforts and overall mission are thriving as we champion the war on self-expression, fairness and equality.
Our growth and impact is directly impacted by the ability of people like you, in our local community, to participate in various opportunities that our company offers throughout the year. Drag Daddy Productions is an LGBTQIA+ owned and operated, nonprofit 501(c)(3) performing arts company founded in Louisville, Kentucky, by Executive Director and Producer, Tony Lewis. It is our mission to provide performance and rehearsal space; as well as, opportunities to trans, non-binary, drag, queer and ally individuals alike. With a focus on equitable pay for performers, we strive to provide safe and healthy spaces for all performers, crew members, volunteers and audience members. Our programming features original works written and/or created by queer artists, unconventional casting of musical theater and other forms of alternative story-telling.
